The other option and these days is very popular for Agra one day journey is the Gatiman Express.

The Gatiman Express leave the Nizamuddin Railway Station at 8:10 AM sharp and reach you Agra cant station at 9:50 AM. These both train stops at Agra for 5 minutes and provide breakfast, water and tea on complimentary services. You should have your confirmed ticket else you cannot ride on the train even if you have a waiting list you would not be allowed to board.

Returning option for same day agra visitors

Take the same train to return from Agra to Delhi or any of these according to your schedule. Bhopal Shatabdi returns to Agra at 20:25 and reach you Delhi around 22:45. While The Gatiman express you can catch at 17:45 that reaches you Delhi Nizammudin Station at around 19:30.

you can also choose a tourist taxi to reach you Delhi if you want to spend your time seeing the Taj Mahal from the moon Garden (Mehtab Bagh), across the Yamuna river with evening sunset view.

Agra to Jaipur by road

For the visitors of Delhi Agra and Jaipur the golden triangle tour, they can move to Jaipur after staying overnight in Agra. In route they can also visit the famous world heritage site Fatehpur Sikri, built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar the great. Or the other options are Sikandra where tomb of Akbar and his beloved wife Mariyam-uz-zamani is situated. while the best option among many is to have a dedicated car, coach along with a professional Driver and someone who lead the tour. for the traveler like one day program the best suitable option to their like is, they can use a combination of car/coach and train. from Jaipur to Delhi it is around 260 kms and by road it takes on smooth congestion free drive 4-5 hours with one break. But it is to keep in mind that the national highway is connected to many other big cities and industrial areas.

Jaipur to Delhi route in sometime got heavily congested, and so it can take more time than expected. It is better to have in mind the time to reach Delhi is 5-7 hours or more. Jaipur to Delhi is also connected with Train and flight. so one can chose to directly fly to Airport of Delhi to catch their back to home flight. One can use the train to return Delhi from Jaipur.
