Etma-ud-daulah

The tomb of Etma-ud-daulah is a real grave and mausoleum built by the Empress Noorjahan the main consort of 4th Mughal Emperor Jahangir for her father and considered the first building of that period where Makrana marble had been used completely to build a tomb in Agra. This beautiful tomb appears like jewelry box and with profusely decorated with many carvings and engraving of geometrical designs located near the eastern bank of Yamuna river is a must see place for art lovers.

TOUR ITINERARY

AGRA FULL DAY TOUR BY TRAIN

This tour has different transportation, as you will be picked up from your hotel on given time to catch a fastest train of India known as Gatiman Express for Agra. At Agra station there will be a driver and guide waiting for you, they will take you to all the monuments of Agra, after the tour ends up they will drop you at the same station to catch your train back to Delhi. Here again you will see your driver to pick you up for your hotel and then the tour ends.

This train takes around 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach you Agra, there is only one stop before Agra where it halts for 2 minutes, in Agra it stops for only 5 minutes so you should be careful while boarding off at Agra as you will realize that many passengers waiting at the Agra station for the train would soon start to enter the compartments without letting the people out of the train and the foreign visitors find it very difficult to manage this hasty behavior of the passengers.

Therefore we advise you do not wait for others, as the train reaches the station take care of your belongings and proceed to the gate to smoothly move out with other co-passengers, take exit and proceed to the parking lot where the driver will be standing by holding a placard of your name.
